[RUNWAY] MBNYFW: Stella Nolasco & Lus Antonio

On the most important week of the season and the official beginning of the year of the industry and two local designers presented on the most important stage in the world: Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week [MBNYFW].  Stella Nolasco and Luis Antonio, they are part of the most prominent designers on the island  and exhibited to the world two magnificent collections.

Stella Nolasco: The Saint of my Devotion S/S '15

The designer marveled the catwalk with her delicate and intricate designs. Playful, feminine and ornate were predominant in the amazing gowns, jumpers, shorts and maxi's that were presented. Inspired the carved saints done by local artisans on the island, this was evident with this amazing collection.

Makeup was simple, dewy skins and bare lips accompanied with braided buns and simple manicures with lovely nude/blush tones.  This collection makes us excited for Spring!

Luis Antonio: Maritime S/S '15

The designer, inspired by his upbringing in the Caribbean wowed the runway with his elaborate designs. Flowy  skirts, belted gowns, marine inspired sandals and a divine color pallet that can be used through the seasons. He outdid himself once again with his playful patterns and shear solids.

Makeup was simple with a bold orange/red lip, complimented with a messy, wavy, loose pony tail. Summer just got more fun.
