[Feature] Alejandra @ Beach Beauties for Beaches PR

New Year's Day marks our first feature of the year! It is with great pleasure that Aisha and I can finally announce the launching of Beach Beauties, a section in Beaches Puerto Rico, an application designed for iPhone, iPad and android technology promoting the beaches of island.

We have been working on the concept since last year, collaborating with our longtime friends at Unica Modeling Agency. The section will feature an editorial per month, showcasing upcoming and established swimwear designers and stores,  as well as the best talent from UNICA. 

This January we begin with a feature from Alejandra Rosario, model and finalist in last year's Elite Model Look. Alejandra has been on the rise, recently gracing the cover of Ego magazine, as well as walking the catwalk for international and local designers such as Isabel Toledo, Eddie Guerrero, Lisa Thon & Miguel Genao.

Swimsuits were all done by local designer Yanira Maldonado, who's commercial line is called Sol Azul. We had the opportunity to work with samples from her new collection that still hasn't been shown, So its extra exciting to be working with her Resort 2012 designs. Tangerine orange, Cockatoo green and Solar Power yellow dominate the color palette; the collection is fun, über flattering, super sexy and provocative Brazilian inspired swimwear.
