[RUNWAY] FIFTH ANNIVERSARY RUNWAY @ Casino Metro in the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino

We were contacted by a client to produce an event in a new and exciting venue. This location was particularly challenging due to the many restrictions it confronts, but we were up for the challenge and decided to give it a shot.

We were able to produce the first ever runway in the luxurious Casino Metro, located at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino at the Convention Center. We had the help of World Events, to make the venue runway ready.

We had the sponsorship of Diageo and there products Johnnie Walker Black Label and Ketle One. El Magazine, with an upcoming editorial which was shot at The Metro Lounge located in the heart of Casino Metro. Amazing model by Cromo Models + Talents, Hair and Makeup by Miranda Salon in Condado and Its Miranda in Guaynabo. PRGD that sponsored our gift bags with amazing Matrix Biolage body products and our amazing host, international Puerto Rican model Frederick Valentin.

We opened with the international brand Custo Barcelona presented its ready to wear F/W ’14 trends. A mix of sober and colorful trends, with luxurious coats and fur sweaters, printed leggings and jeans. Beautiful jewel toned dresses and geometric patterns, the traditional flair of Custo Barcelona and accustomed indulgence.

The national brand of the island P.ERE, innovative and first of its caliber in Puerto Rico, presented a casual/sheik collection. The designers of the brand Andres Gonzalez, Norma Dominguez, Jaer Caban, Yanira Maldonado, Tatzy, and Ambar Sanchez came together to present a holiday collection. Shades of red, black, and gold were the focus of this proposal. Ivelisse Nieves complimented the designs of her fellow designer with daring and effortlessly graceful jewelry. The collection was a delight for the ostentatious taste in every woman.

The renowned designer José Raúl, focused on new trends from his S/S ‘15 “Agua de Coco”. Refreshing hues of blue, white and yellow, his proposal focused on the formal man who likes to take challenges with color and bold prints.

Designer Lisa Nieves concluded the showcase with her S/S collection “Colorare”. Beautifully hand beaded gowns with racy slits that were high enough to barely leave anything to the imagination. Colorful lace detail with meticulously placed ornamentation. Beautiful blush colors were the surplus of the elegance of this collection. Without a doubt her proposal flaunted femininity and sensuality and was the highlight of the night.

Our after party was held at The Metro Lounge where everyone, who was anyone in the industry was there. Designers Andres Gonzalez, Ivelisse Nieves, Jaer Caban, Norma Dominguez, Yanira Maldonado, fellow stylist Jahel Marie. Upcoming talents Lorena Arvelo, Tylon Reyes, Christian Brenard, musician Enrique Olivares, among others.
