The Elite Model Look Puerto Rico (EMLPR), the most prestigious model
competition in the world, revealed the names of the group of finalists will go
to compete in the grand finally of the EMLPR. Judges will have the arduous task of selecting the new supermodel that
will represent Puerto Rico in the Elite Model Look World Final in Shanghai,
China as also and the first male model in history that will hold the title.
The group was selected from 80 participants who graced the catwalk at Club Brava at the prominent Hotel San Juan. The jury of the semifinals was composed of designers Shalysmar Latorre of the swimwear line DulceLimón, emerging designer Juliana Abislaimán, the renowned Eddie Guerrero, member of The New Generation Ghabriello Fernando, next to Felipe Torres fashion photographer and stylist Christian Ramirez.

EMLPR Grand Final 2012 will be held on September 19 at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum as the opening of Puerto Rico High Fashion Week (PRHFW) and will feature the shows of Dulce Limón, Juliana Abislaimán and Eddie Guerrero who will present a special collection of swimsuits for men. Special guest will be designer Amaury Matos, who was selected as the best emerging designer at Caribbean FashionWeek, recently held in the Dominican Republic.
